From the luckiest rocketeer alive...

I don't know about anyone else... but for me, it is a VERY satisfying moment when you defeat the dreaded rocketus-eatemupus (aka a tree!), regardless of the condition of the rocket! I can deal with a crash, a cato a whatnot... the only thing worse is when it's a loss and you have no idea where it is!

That is a very clever method to recover a rocket. Alas my throwing arm isn't what it used to be. Thanks for sharing your story.

John, glad you got your Arcas back. I was bummed when I saw that get snarled by a tall tree.

Thanks Curtis... sometimes good fortune comes in dribs & drabs, sometimes it comes in a flood. For me so far this year (at least as far as rocketry goes) I'd say it's closer to the latter! I've had the luck "hat-trick" so to speak...
