Due to ongoing red flag fire conditions, we will be unable to conduct our launch in Amesbury on the 16th of November. We will see what we can do to reschedule in December.
To make it absolutely clear, CMASS does not allow "sparky" motors at any of our launches.
We got lucky and what looked like a barely acceptatble day turned out gorgeous. It was short sleeve shirt weather for most of the day and the winds were low. We had around 250 flights a couple of which were Leverl 1 certifications. Jim flew a prototype of the Goddard rocket and we saw way too many motor catos. It was good to be back in Amesbury on the mostly mowed field. It was windy but at least the wind was blowing down the long way. There were around 230 flights. And there was cake. Fliskits paid the field use fee and more importantly supplied cake in celebration of its 7th anniversary. There are photos here , here , here, here and here .
