I'm organizing my stuff for tomorrow (if we get a decent day, please God!) and I've come across a few rockets that are in less than flight worthy condition but can be made so. (Thus the asterisk.) What with all the projects I have in progress or pending, I don't know when or if I'll ever get around to fixing them.

Most have missing or damaged fins, one is missing a fin which I never found and needs a new shock cord, and one is good to go, flies on mini-engines and I'm throwing in a pack of 1/4A3-3T engines with it.

I'm going to throw them all in a box and bring them tomorrow (hopefully) and offer them to any takers. I'd prefer to give them to Cub Scouts or other young rocketeers that show up, but club members are welcome to them too. Although, I suspect most of you have a stash of junk rockets of your own. And if you want the engines, then take the rocket too.

Maybe some of the rest of you might want to try to reduce your own rocket clutter the same way. I think it would be a good way to help the newcomers acquire some skills and get something they can fly in the bargain.

Most of this stuff should be easy enough for a kid to patch up and fly. I'd enjoy seeing them fly again.
