Uploading-Your-Photos

The page discusses uploading multiple/single photos, creating personal galleries, what/how to tag photos so that the admins can easily find/link your photos and so on.

It's long as I mentioned, but if you focus on the sections regarding gallery creation and photo uploading (i.e. what you're trying to do here!), you should be ok... by all means, reach out if you have questions.

You're not being thick-headed - it's not designed to be used in the ways that we've used the gallery in the past. Whatever doc you're reading probably is taking it from the admin's perspective.

The two albums you see: one is a member album from Casey; the other is one I created (admin) to accumulate all photos that members wish to share.

If you want to "upload" photos to the 2025/06/15 album, create a personal album (from your Profile, lower-right), and upload your photos there. If you mark it visible, it will show up on the Gallery page as Casey's did. If you want those photos to be in the album under the Acton Launches category (the 2025/06/15 album), notify me and I'll copy or move the photos, and then you can either "hide" or delete your member album.

I created a message in the Launches forum last night regarding this scenario.

I tried chasing down info on how to upload photos to an existing launch gallery album, but I keep feeling like I'm hitting a wall. It seems like most of the documentation is set up to tell a new admin how to configure their site, versus telling a user how to work with it. Maybe I'm missing something really obvious? Also, we already have two albums set up for the 6/15/25 launch. Shouldn't those get combined into one?

I hope someone can help me out. Maybe it's just the end of the day and I'm especially thick-headed...😋

We're still in the process of tweaking the new website. Let us know what you like and what you don't like. Check it on a desktop, laptop, tablet, and/or your phone to see what appeals to you, or doesn't, and let us know.

I agree that the background color choice could be better. I'll meet with Howard in the next week or so to discuss potential updates.

The lower part of the home page has a green background. It makes it difficult to read the text.

Can that please be changed.

Just a minor problem. We tried moving as much of the articles, images and docs from old site over as we could and in this case I think some of the images may have been missed.

So far, very impressive! Thanks for all the hard work.

I do have one question though. The article "Two stage Decaffeinator" has places for pictures, but no actual pictures.

Is this just me or a minor problem?

I like the new site, thanks for getting this set up!

I'd like to start this new thread to get comments on what people think of the website.
