USA vs. USSR Space Race

So in true-to-form NASA tradition of the 1960's, we officially have GO fever. I almost feel like going down to the MOCR and lighting up a cigar.

That's easy. The new ex-tra-large HP pad at C that we put the 15x15 rail on has a secret. Bill included a side port for a rod, and I think it will take up to 1/2 inch. So I'll simply set up as usual but increase the separation to 10 feet.

Gosh, we really need to do a documentary of this. We need a camera man and reporter to ask the questions. Mr. Ambassador, are you available to go in front of the lens?

Does anyone have a small keychain video camera they would please be willing to loan for this drag race?

I have one reliable onboard video camera, and would like a second so that both rockets capture onboard video.

I'll give you 808 keychain cam. Shoots nice HD video.

I can help with final video editing as well. We could put two videos side by side and overlay altimeter data like I did here or here .

If anyone finds the Soyuz escape tower, I would be grateful to get it back. It is likely in an area behind pad C or to its North, halfway towards the swamp. White with some red, about 1/2" dia x 10" long.
