Our June 22 launch will be the last of the 2023-24 NRC competition year. Your last chance to get a competition flight in before NARAM.
Events for 2024-25 have been announced:
1/4 A Streamer Duration
1/2 A Altitude
A Payload Altitude
B Rocket Glider Duration
B Helicopter Duration
D Dual Egg Lofting Altitude
An important note is that due to NARAM 2025's dates, the NRC contest year will end June 11, 2025.
The 2024-25 NRC contest year begins August 10. Our July 6 and 27 launches will not be part of the contest year, but will give you two launches to test rockets for the contest year.
NARAM 2025 will be flown June 21-27, 2025 at Muncie, IN. This puts NARAM within reasonable range of us. I have not seen an announcement yet of the NARAM events, but I expect one of the scale events to be included together with the 6 NRC events.
Challenges for the upcoming year will be B Helo Duration which the Acton field might not be large enough for and D Dual Eggloft where there seems to be no commercial supplier left of dual egg capsules.
