This thread will serve as a repository of information and questions for the next upcoming launch. Postings below this one will be deleted after each event.

Thanks to Rick Hobbs for authoring the launch article for the 19 October launch. I posted the article but as it shows at the end of it, Rick wrote it. Let us know if you'd like to scribe an article for an upcoming event or an interesting project you're involved with.

We're looking forward to our final launch of the 2024 season. Scheduled for 03 November, the day we turn our clocks back, it will be a Sunday launch with our annual joint Night Launch with N.O.R.G. As we are in a moderate drought condition, keep an eye on the website in case the AFD tells us we can't fly that day.

Sign up for safety check, launch control or food service and/or come early/stay late to help with set up and tear down.

No more than a heavy dew. I asked Deputy Chief Serino to get back to me by Friday. With the wildfires elsewhere on the North Shore, I'm not too optimistic.
