One of my favorite vendors is Sirius Rocketry. Reason being that their single use motors tend to be more rather than less "in stock". That's not to say they don't have supply issues (for example the Aerotech F32 24mm motors have not been available there for a while). They *do* have hazmat motors but not always in the delay time i'd want. But there are some in-stock like the F50T 4, 9 (but 6 is clearly more popular and they don't have the 6's). They also have G79s and G77s in stock. No G80s tho.
Why do I like *this* vendor? Here is the example:
Aerotech F67s (my new favorite F motor... no hazmat 61 N-s)
(N motors) | (N x motor price) | (shipping) | (total) | (list price x N) |
1 | 24.64 | 8.59 | 33.23 | 28.99 |
2 | 49.28 | 9.79 | 52.07 | 57.98 |
3 | 73.92 | 10.79 | 84.71 | 86.47 |
So as you can see, once you get TWO packs, the total price is LESS than the list price you'd pay. I just blew 170+ bucks there and the shipping came to 12 dollars. Unf. they did not have F67-6s. But they do have Aerotech G LMS motors for example (no hazmat there either).
But like ALL vendors who discount... they are out of some stuff. Right now, hobbylinc has F50T-6s but they are hazmat. BuyRocketMotors has F32s (unlike Sirius) but their discount isn't quite as good as Sirius.
The dude there told me that he gets shipments from aerotech but they don't always actually completely fill the darn order he puts in. Chris's rocket supplies (list price for EVERYTHING) claims to have over 77 F67-6s in stock... I won't put in here what I have to say about my suspicions!
