New Web Site Launch

1) Log in
2) Go to Gallery -- User Panel
3) Go to Categories -- New Category -- create one for today's launch
4) Click Upload and make sure to upload to correct category

Let me know how it goes. It is working for me, but I'm curious how it's working for others.

With respect to the pic uploads: The upload button wasn't working for the drag and drop. I figured that might be a firefox/OSX thing. But the regular upload seemed to point them at the Nov 21 category. Perhaps it just isn't visible?

Ah, now I see that the category is not published. And I cannot approve it, it says. At least that makes sense. I presume an administrator can. In that case, I will correctly rotate images and upload more.

Most of them are still 500kb even after I compress them further. I hope that's ok?

I noticed the 500 pixel limit for pictures in article submissions, I presume that isn't the case here?

I published it. My guess is you could publish it yourself by going to User Panel - Categories - click icon in "Action" column for your category.

Current limit is 2MB per image. No limit for pixel size, it will resize it automatically.

Actually, that option (Action/Publish) was grayed out for me (and still is).

Also my user profile doesn't reflect my membership status under "Additional Information", which I can't change. But it is correct under "Membership".

Would that be related to my seeming lack of permissions?

1) Fixed default permissions to allow publishing.

2) Correct membership status is reported in "Membership" tab. I have no idea where membership in "Additional Information" comes from. Confusing. I removed it.
