Jason,

In my last post is a link to the TRF thread with more details and pictures.

As I stated, it is for this weekend\'s night launch that I added the LEDs so, yes I will bring it to the launch.

Please stop by and check it out, thanks for your interest.

This is mostly for Boris, but if anyone has suggestions or advice, that would be great.

One of the winter projects is to illuminate a Khufu\'s Pyramid with 1 or 2 \'WFLS series Flexible Light Strips\' from superbrightleds.com - 30 LED strips, one blue (WFLS-B30) and one white (WFLS-NW30). I believe these are the same strips that Boris used on his turbine saucer; although with different colors. Since this is my first time doing anything like this, I want to make it simple. I simply want to spiral the strip around the pyramid. If the 30 led strip is long enough to wrap the entire pyramid, I\'ll use one, and if not, then solder the second one onto the first and continue the spiral. One battery and one on/off switch.

My questions are:
1) Do I need a resistor and if so, how do I calculate what resistor I need.
2) What type/voltage battery(s) do I need.

Thanks.

Claude

No resistor. There\'s one for each LED already on the strip.

They call for 12V but I know you can power one strip with 9V because that\'s what I did.
