TARC Launch Schedule for 2022

We'll have at least 3 TARC teams in attendance and one scout group with us today.
Volunteers always welcome and you may even be able to fly one of your own smaller rockets.

Driving east on 2 past the fields to another commitment, it looked to be quite a turnout at 11:00am.

My first thought was "...arghh - those cricketeers..." and then I remembered the TARC practice.

Actually,  we said to heck with the rockets and did a cricket match instead... 
 

It ended up being a little too early to find two crickets to match. Claude did find a tick in the woods, though.

This is no April Fool's trick; the early forecast shows Mother Nature acting up on Saturday the 2nd. Winds in the teens mph blowing toward the trees. Sunday looks to be more overcast but much, much calmer.
I'll make the call on Thursday but it's looking like we'll shift the TARC launch date again this weekend.

It's official; we'll be holding the final TARC launch of 2022 on Sunday, 03 April. We'll be ready to go by 11 in the morning and will go until 3 PM. Rain could be moving in later in the afternoon but the finals go on in whatever weather they have so this would be good practice.
