Wildman Rick Connecticut was created by deangelo54
Middletown, CT June 5, 2022

Wildman Rick Connecticut will be at our June 11, 2022 Acton launch.
Rick has a very large trailer with all kinds of motors and rocketry stuff.
Rick is a regular at CATO launches in Dartmouth, CT, METRA launches in New Hampton, NY and MARS launches in Geneseo, NY.

I provided Rick with a hand drawn layout of the Acton field and 300 School Street as a reference. He will park parallel to School Street with the front of his truck facing away from Route 2 (towards the chicken house). Hopefully the cricketeers will not be at the parking lot when Rick arrives.

This is a good opportunity for us to stock up on HPR and MPR engines for when we launch at larger venues. Avoid shipping costs and those dreaded HAZMAT fees. Hopefully we provide Rick with enough business so that he makes another appearance at a CMASS launch so start making out your shopping lists.

I intend to buy stuff even if I don't need anything. I certainly want a vendor on the field if at all possible!

Looking ahead to the fall launches in Amesbury, I am going to buy an Aerotech G80-7 for my SA-14 Archer. I can use some Quest D22-4W engines for some of my smaller kits. I'm sure I will find some additional items to get once I walk into Rick's trailer.

I have six new D22-4W's ready for launch tomorrow.  For Wildman Rick, I made my list of compatible CTI reloads for my AIM-120.

When I was 12, walking into Rick's Trailer for the first time felt like walking into Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory...I had never seen HPR before, only heard it having flown only C's, and had never seen such a concentration of rockets and motors at once...
