I just looked at the Estes site. They recommend D, E and F engines.
I forget if the CRs are paper, balsa or plywood. Using a G engine might be pushing it. You would have to make some modifications if you want to go HP with this kit. I can't even imagine using an H engine on a 13 ounce rocket.

The kit is coming along well.
I added a 1/8 basswood forward CR.
I connected a 5/32 eye bolt to the forward CR. Kevlar shock cord just below the end of the body tube, then 1/2” braided elastic.
I added a fillet between the fin tab and motor tube.

All that is left is fin fillets, rear CR and engine retainer. Then paint and decals.

The Doorknob flew well at the November 21st launch on an E20 and had a successful recovery. Thanks to Tony Vincent for his advice.
