LiPo batteries

I use 2S LiPo batteries. Nominal voltage is 7.4v. Fully charged is 8.6V. You can use them down to about 6.3v.

There is a variant with JST type connectors, but I don't use them, as they strike me as fragile.

And a Lipo balance charger, such as

The charger can charge other types of rechargeable as well.

They are fussy. If you over discharge them, they become unusable.

Store them in an insulated bag. Don't leave unattended from charging. I have never had any overheating events. I have killed some from over discharging
