The latest issue of Sport Rocketry came to my house about two weeks ago. I have been reading it here and there when I get a chance. Last night I continued reading the lead article which covers the NSL 2018. While reading the Saturday section low and behold, whose name do I see mentioned as a first time flier? Our very own Linda DeAngelo flying her Lavender Rose on a D12-5. At first I thought she flew it earlier in the year. When I checked our flight log notebook, sure enough there was a comment that it was the first flight.
I don't mean to sound like a jealous husband but I'm a level 2 who has been flying and building rockets for 16 years and I don't even get mentioned in our local free paper. Seriously, I was incredibly surprised as was Linda. I'm wondering if somehow Kenn had something to do with Linda getting mentioned in the article.
