We have two limited launches coming up on 17 and 31 March for TARC practice and qualifying attempts.
These are not open club launches; they are meant only for TARC teams and possibly SLI teams if we can accommodate them. We do want to be sure to have enough volunteers at the field to provide all the services our club is well known for:
hefting of launch equipment out to the launch area (if we can't drive the trailer out there) and setting up the pads and controller
timing and certification of results for qualifying flights
all around source of last minute knowledge
As a minimum, it would be nice to have six people but more is always better. Witnesses and timers should be active NAR members but non-NAR members can help with the other tasks including launching. If you can help on one or both dates or have any questions, please reply on this thread.
If you are on a TARC team that needs to use our services, let us know here, too.
If the field is in good enough shape and accessible for Saturday, the CMASS trailer and my truck have both been freed from yesterday's snow and are ready to make the trek to Amesbury. Batteries are charging as well.
